"Where Jesus Is Our Hope"

About Us

Anthony Ruffin

"I was born with a eye disease called glaucoma. I graduated from high school at the Arkansas School f/t Blind. The Lord saved me in the year of 1990, and I became a Christian. Over the years i grew strong in my Christian faith, and God gave me a heart to serve people. I got busy in church playing the drums, being the youth director, and putting together youth church and conferences. The Lord called me to the ministry in September 2001. I believe that it is important that we should all continue to grow in the word of God, so I attended the Agape School of Evangelism. I attended this school from 2002-2004, where I graduated with a diploma in the bible. In 2006, the Lord gave me a task in starting the living Hope Ministry. This ministry is God ordained to witness to those who have a disability. The Bible says “God is not willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance". We stand on the word of God as being our instruction manual for daily living, how to treat others, how to rest in him, have the peace of God, but most of all how to be delivered from ones sins. God has shown me that the disability community is being left out of the church. Therefore, it is his will that we witness to those that are lost. Jesus said, "They that are whole do not need a physician, but I came for the sick". We are all sick including the disable. This is how the Living Hope Ministry evolved, because I was concerned about the lack of people with disabilities that are absent from the church community. God shows no respect to person. Therefore, our desire is to break down barriers between the disabled and nondisabled."
