Exodus 3:14 NKJV And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ Moses was a conflicted, messy man that God was going to use to bring the Children of Israel out of Slavery. Moses had been so messy that a lot of today’s church would reject him as a leader, just as he was rejected by his own people. When Moses encounter God on the mountain of Horeb. God would bring clarity, inner strength, and equip Moses for the job by being I AM WHO I AM, there are 3 truths that Moses would discover that day. 1) God exist without us “I AM” God is eternal and is not restricted by time, matter, or space. 2) God is with us “I Am” God is personal and present for us. 3) God becomes what we need “I AM” God is Sufficient, speaks to every need and confronts our fear and insecurity. Moses able to lead the Children of Israel out of Egypt because of I AM WHO I AM. Jesus affirmed that he is “I AM” John 8:58 NKJV Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” We can benefit greatly in life when we discover and believe in I AM.
